This snow leopard cub in the Toronto Zoo was born this past summer, and I wanted to get a shot of him/her in nice fresh snow. I hadn't planned on being there that day, but my connecting flight back to Kingston on my way home from San Francisco was canceled, due to the huge dumping of snow. My time at the zoo almost made up for being back in the rotten winter after a lovely week in Cali. (and a great week in AZ prior to that) Enjoy.

I was the only one there that day, and they kept coming up to the glass at the front observation window and putting their paws up on it...until I'd put my mitt up and they'd get all happy and do a little snow dance...I think their usual keeper hadn't been it that day due to the snow.

It's all in fun until someone loses an eye. Then it gets really interesting.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
