White Ibis and Snowy Egret, Merritt National Wildlife Refuge, FL
At the risk of dating myself, I immediately thought of Mel Brooks' classic "Young Frankenstein" when I saw this odd couple stalking the shallows of Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Florida. The Snowy Egret seemed absolutely determined to mirror every move of the white ibis as it shadowed it across bay. |
